IEEE VEC SB was inaugurated on 7th October 2017. It was inaugurated by Mr. Laxminarayana Merugu, the then chairman of IEEE Hyderabad section.

Moving to the Program, two speakers of the event are:

1) Dr. Y .Vijayalata, Student Activities Committee Chair, IEEE Hyderabad Section.

2)Mr.Ravi Shankar,

                       The speakers created a complete awareness regarding IEEE and it's activities and gave complete information regarding  IEEE regions, sections, societies, members, positions and also the benefits of IEEE and scholarships offered by IEEE. This created a great awareness among all the delegates who attended the event. They also gave an idea on how IEEE is helpful in industries. This session provided great knowledge and information for all delegates. IEEE VEC SB debuted it's event on a high. Our first impression became the best impression.

TECHNOVENZA is a college level event conducted on 1st August, 2018. It's main aim is to enlighten the talent of the delegates. Technovenza-enlightening your ideas is the technical event organised by IEEE VEC student branch.  Logo designing, Technical paper writing, poster presentation, tech talk are the activities included in the event. This event was organised to improve the hidden skills in the students and also providing the opportunity for enlightening their ideas and expose their talent. This event got a huge success as more than 150 delegates participated in the event.

Career Guidance is a motivational session held on 9th August, 2019 at Vaagdevi Engineering College conducted by IEEE VEC SB. Mr. Ramesh Chintala is a well note speaker who explained our career through GATE/PSU and IES and also explained how can a student qualify in the GATE exam easily. This event is conducted by IEEE VEC SB to provide the guidance of the career to the students for their higher education. In this event, Mr.Ramesh chinthala guided the students very well and he also explained each and every point about how can a person secure a job in Public sector unit through GATE. He clarified all the doubts which are raised by the students. He told that "GATE Exam will provides the students to study in top university inistutions like IITs,NITs". This event created an Idea to score good marks in GATE.

The main Agenda of the event is to Introduce a new Technology named Salesforce to Students and to motivate and guide them into a Technical way towards Cloud computing. The event started at 09:00 AM sharp in the morning, participants stepped into the auditorium with great excitement and interest .The workshop is limited to a count of 60 participants from different streams of engineering. The hosts for the event are Ms. P. Bhavya Shri and Ms. P. Shreya Sairam. At 10:30 Am the hosts addressed the distinguished speakers onto the stage. The two eminent speakers for the workshop are Mr.Nagendra Kumar and Mr.Satya Thopally Veera Venkata. Co-host Ms. M. Vandana took the privilege of reading out the profile of Mr. Nagendra and Mr. Satya. The inauguration was started with the lamp lightning by our dignitaries on the stage. The second day of the session was a webinar by Mr. Nagendra and hosted by Mr.N.Anil Reddy. The doubts of delegates was clarified by Mr.Anil and the volunteers of IEEE. At last, the certificates distribution of delegates was held in the presence of Dr. P. Prasad Rao, Principal and Branch counselor of IEEE VEC SB, Vaagdevi Engineering College, Mr. Ramu & Ms. Mounika , the Co-ordinators of IEEE VEC SB.

This event was held on 1st December, 2018 organised by IEEE VEC SB at Vaagdevi Engineering College, Bollikunta, Warangal.  The event started at 09:30 AM in the morning and held until 04:15 PM in the evening. This event is based on the ancient cultures and morals for the women and also how to design the research work in the professional way, how to start a business with the minimum knowledge of the marketing. Mr. M. Ramu is invited as the speaker and he gave the importance of IEEE and Women in Engineering affinity group.

On 3rd January, 2019, we had an Industrial visit to NRSC. NRSC abbreviated as National Remote Sensing Centre is headquartered at Hyderabad. It is responsible for remote sending satellite data acquisition and processing, data acquisition. NRSC is an outreach facility for ISRO which stands for Indian space research organization. We have reached Shadnagar at 7:30 AM in the morning. The first session started at 8AM about Launching of Satellites and Overview of NRSC. After that, we had a visit to remote sensing application center, they explained clearly how they use these applications in satellites.

In the Afternoon session, we had an exposure to Industry named Kwality Photonics situated at ECIL, Secunderabad. Kwality Photonics is an LED manufacturing company. At around 1:30 PM , we had a visit to their laboratories where they have shown how ICs are manufactured manually and by machines. Each and every step of the procedure had explained by the employees working there. It is one of the great place to visit as we have improved our knowledge towards IC manufacturing which helped us a lot.

IEEE VEC SB was came with an first ever flagship event attesting the theme of RE-EQUIPPED ETHICAL HACKING and ALEXA. The magnificent opportunity to learn a skill that has the power to swirl the world around with the fingers. VAAGDEVI ENGINEERING COLLEGE IEEE STUDENT BRANCH initiated a 3 days event called “SPYRO 1.O”, which is a national level technical fest on 26 th , 27 th & 28 th of February, 2019. The delegates for the event was pursuing in different streams from various colleges all over the nation. More than 200 delegates attended the event. The main intention of SPYRO 1.O is the gathering of delegates on every aspect of the event, for gaining the knowledge, interacting and expanding the connections for having lots of memories. The event was on ETHICAL HACKING and ALEXA where hacking refers to the act of locating weaknesses and the state of being attacked or harming of devices where the information in the systems are used. And one more is about Alexa which is the product of amazon where the session includes the developing, making & the working of alexa. SPYRO 1.0 is a National level Techno-cultural event which was held on 26th – 28th Feb 2019. It is a flagship event which was focused on Ethical Hacking and Amazon Alexa. Mr. Sai Roopak Voleti was invited as the speaker who is one of the reputed Ethical Hacker across India.

Saviskara is a one-day Technical event organised on 31st August, 2019 under IEEE VEC SB at "W" Block auditorium, Vaagdevi Engineering College, Warangal. The main theme of the event is the Exhibition of talent. More than 150 students of various streams participated in the event. The event includes Power point presentation, Technical Quiz, Poster presentation and Idea presentation as the activities. The students who actively participated received the certificate of merit and who placed in the 1st and 2nd places received shields of honour.
